Pablo Piatti out for 'five weeks'

Valencia attacker Pablo Piatti will be out of action for around five weeks after tearing his hamstring in the goalless draw with Sevilla on Sunday.

Valencia attacker Pablo Piatti has been ruled out of action for an expected five weeks with a torn hamstring.

The Argentine, who has impressed under Juan Antonio Pizzi since the turn of the year, is believed to have picked up the injury in Sunday's goalless draw with Sevilla at the Estadio Ramon.

A subsequent scan took place on Monday, with the results revealing that the 24-year-old will miss at least the next month of the season.

Piatti, who has one international cap to his name, joined Valencia from Almeria in 2011.
