Valencia confirm Dorlan Pabon capture from Monterrey

Valencia sign Colombian international Dorlan Pabon from Monterrey.

Valencia have confirmed the signing of Colombian international Dorlan Pabon from Monterrey.

The Spanish club's president Amadeo Salvao revealed last week that they had activated the 25-year-old's release clause, but Monterrey were stalling proceedings due to a misunderstanding surrounding the details of the offer.

However, the attacker flew into Valencia on Tuesday, with his arrival being confirmed on the club's official Twitter page.

The length of the contract is yet to be disclosed, but it is expected to become clear when Pabon is officially presented to the media on Wednesday evening.

Pabon scored eight goals in 14 games while on loan at Real Betis last season.
