Valencia are poised to sign Real Zaragoza striker Helder Postiga as Roberto Soldado prepares to leave for Tottenham Hotspur.
The Portuguese striker, who himself spent a frustrating year in North London after moving from Porto in 2003, scored 14 goals in La Liga last season.
According to reports in Spain, he will not be a direct replacement for the outgoing Soldado, who is expected to complete his move to White Hart Lane later today.
Postiga has played 61 times for his country, scoring 26 goals in the process.
