Vancouver Whitecaps 2-0 Montreal Impact

Goals from Sebastien Le Toux and Camilo make sure that Montreal Impact have a first MLS game to forget in the all-Canadian clash at BC Place.

Goals from Sebastien Le Toux and Camilo made sure that Montreal Impact had a first MLS game to forget in the all-Canadian clash at BC Place.

Vancouver Whitecaps made a rapid start to the game and took the lead after just five minutes as new signing Le Toux was left with a simple finish, following good work from Eric Hassli and Alain Rochat.

Martin Rennie's Whitecaps dominated the game and Impact had former Bradford City goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts to thank for keeping them in the match.

As Impact settled into the game, Justin Mapp and Sanna Nyassi both wasted good chances to equalise, but Camilo settled the tie early in the second half after a lovely pass from Davide Chiumiento.
