Sunday's Serie A predictions including Napoli vs. Monza

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Napoli vs. Monza.

Torino vs. Lazio (Sunday, 11.30am)

Top of Serie A after five rounds, Torino will aim to continue their unbeaten start on Sunday, as they welcome Lazio to Stadio Olimpico Grande.

Though they were knocked out of the Coppa Italia in midweek, Toro won again last weekend and sit four points clear of their visitors from the capital.

We say: Torino 1-1 Lazio

Two well-matched teams are set to play out a low-scoring draw in Serie A's Sunday lunchtime kickoff.

Torino have impressed under new management and may expect to win on home soil, but Lazio have rejuvenated their attack this season and pose any team a real threat.

Como vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Fresh off a first Serie A victory in 21 years, Como return to Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia in gameweek six, keen to secure another positive result in Sunday's gameweek six clash with Hellas Verona.

With recent games involving both sides in the lead-up to this weekend producing a surfeit of goals, supporters could be in for a treat in Lombardy.

We say: Como 2-1 Hellas Verona

Como enter gameweek six in high spirits, and that should stand them in good stead against a Verona side on a two-match losing run in Serie A.

Having conceded a late equaliser in their previous home match against Bologna (2-2), Fabregas' men should secure maximum points on their turf this weekend.

Roma vs. Venezia (Sunday, 2.00pm)

After ending their wait for a win last week, Roma will seek back-to-back Serie A victories on Sunday, when they welcome Venezia to Stadio Olimpico.

The Lagunari also got off the mark last time out, leaving them just two points behind their capital-city counterparts in the standings.

We say: Roma 2-0 Venezia

Fired up by their failure to finish the job last time out, Roma should make a fast start against Venezia, who have conceded the most goals during the first 30 minutes of play in Serie A this season - at an average of one per game.

The visitors do not tend to travel well and may be a little overawed on their arrival at Stadio Olimpico, where the hosts can finally post successive league wins.

Empoli vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Flying high near the top of the Serie A standings, Empoli tackle Tuscan rivals Fiorentina on Sunday evening, aiming to extend their unbeaten start to the season.

The Azzurri enter this season's first Derby dell'Arno on the back of consecutive wins in league and cup, while the Viola finally recorded their first victory last weekend.

We say: Empoli 1-2 Fiorentina

Empoli have defied all the odds to stay undefeated so far, and they should certainly pose Fiorentina some problems in the Derby dell'Arno.

However, the Viola can spoil their Azzurri rivals' party by snatching maximum points, having gained confidence from winning last week.

Napoli vs. Monza (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Both winners in the cup earlier this week, Napoli and Monza will seek maximum points when they meet at Stadio Maradona for Serie A's Sunday night kickoff.

Unbeaten since the opening matchday, the hosts have scored nine times without reply in their last three matches; meanwhile, Monza are still searching for their first league win.

We say: Napoli 2-0 Monza

One way or another, Napoli should take care of business against a limited Monza team who struggle to score and have not beaten top-tier opponents for several months.

Befitting their coach's never-say-die approach, Antonio Conte's men have scored the most Serie A goals in the last 30 minutes of play this season - seven of their nine so far - and will ultimately get the job done.
