Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio has revealed that he is close to a first-team return.
The centre-back has been out of action over the last couple of weeks with a broken toe, but has targeted next Monday's La Liga clash with Athletic Bilbao to make his return.
"I don't feel I'm the saviour of the team, or untouchable. I've always said that there are players in this team, who can play, do well and resolve any problems we have," he told reporters.
"I'm feeling fine, better every day and hopefully I'll be recovered soon. I'm taking things by stages and waiting to see how things evolve.
"I'm working double shifts at the moment, morning and afternoon, with the desire of being ready for the game next Monday. Rather than pain, it's just annoying, so hopefully that'll clear up and I'll be able to play on Monday."
The Yellow Submarine currently sit fifth in La Liga, seven points from fourth-placed Bilbao.
