Gareth Bale has played down the significance of winning his 50th Wales cap against Belgium in Cardiff tonight, insisting that the result is far more important.
Bale is poised to reach the milestone tonight as the hosts look to take control of Group B in Euro 2016 qualifying by moving above the co-leaders, who sit ahead of them on goal difference.
Victory would take Chris Coleman's side that bit closer to their first major tournament in 57 years since the 1958 World Cup.
"It's a big moment for me to get my 50th cap but that all goes out the window really," Real Madrid star Bale told FAW TV.
"We're so concentrated on the game, on trying to get the victory and a good performance that kind of goes right to the back of my mind.
"I'm just purely focused on the job in hand because we know it's going to be a very difficult game. We know the quality of players they've got but we've also got quality ourselves."
Israel, with nine points, sit two behind the pair in third.
