Wales defender Danny Gabbidon has insisted that the team's friendly against Iceland is important as they look to build momentum ahead of Euro 2016 qualifying.
Chris Coleman's side welcome their Scandinavian opponents to the Cardiff City Stadium tonight.
Wales get their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign underway on September 9 when they travel to Andorra.
"People may think that friendlies are pointless but we don't see it that way," Gabbidon is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"We've got a great chance of qualifying for Euro 2016, now is the time for us to step up and show what we're all about."
Wales entertain Iceland looking to end a winless run of two matches.
