Slavisa Jokanovic will reportedly be handed a new Watford deal in the coming days, after guiding the club back to the Premier League.
The Serbian manager has led the Hornets to the top flight for the first time in eight years, despite being handed just a short-term deal last October.
Watford chiefs are now reportedly keen to tie the 46-year-old down, amid news that Sunderland are planning to make an approach in the summer.
Sky Sports News claims that Jokanovic is close to agreeing fresh terms at Vicarage Road, which is likely to be a 12-month rolling deal worth around £1m plus added incentives.
Watford have the chance to win the Championship title when they take on Sheffield Wednesday this coming weekend.
