Watford manager Slavisa Jokanovic has revealed that he rates striker Troy Deeney as a "Premier League player".
Deeney has been instrumental in the club's rise to third place in the standings, and after he was nominated for the Championship's Player of the Year award, Jokanovic has backed the former Walsall forward to continue to improve over the coming seasons.
The 46-year-old told BBC Three Counties: "He's a great player. A Premier League player who plays in the Championship. If he wins it, he deserves it.
"He brings character on the field and in the dressing room. He puts himself as leader of the team. I'm sure he can still get better in all areas. There doesn't exist any complete player."
The 26-year-old has scored 20 goals in 40 appearances for the Hornets in all competitions this season.
