Watford have announced that technical director Gianluca Nani has resigned from his post at the Championship club.
Formerly of West Ham United, Nani joined Watford when the Pozzo family took over at Vicarage Road in 2012.
"I feel it is the right time for me to leave the club and I'm looking now for new challenges elsewhere," the 51-year-old told the club website.
"I was asked to ensure everything was complete in terms of the squad and the transfer market towards the end of August. This is something I was very, very happy to do.
"I believe the squad is now competitive and together we have done a great job to achieve this."
Nani's departure comes just days after manager Giuseppe Sannino also resigned from his post.
Sannino has since been replaced by former Brighton & Hove Albion boss Oscar Garcia.
