Watford came from a goal down to hand Ipswich their seventh consecutive loss of the season this afternoon at Portman Road.
On-loan Blackburn midfielder Keith Andrews put the home side ahead as the first half came to a close, heading Daryl Murphy's cross into the back of the net.
Paul Jewell's side held their lead for much of the second half, but Watford were able to pull one back from the spot after Ibrahima Sonko was adjudged to have fouled striker Marvin Sordell in the area.
The Hornets then took just four minutes to take the lead as Troy Deeney found the back of the net from close range to move four points clear of the relegation zone.
