Team News: Victor Wanyama starts for Southampton amid transfer speculation

Victor Wanyama starts for Southampton in their Premier League clash against Watford, despite speculation that he has asked to leave the club.

Victor Wanyama starts for Southampton in their Premier League clash against Watford despite speculation that he has asked to leave the club.

The midfielder reportedly told the club's hierachy that he wanted to move away from St Mary's Stadium, amid interest from Tottenham Hotspur.

However, Ronald Koeman has named Wanyama in his starting lineup at Vicarage Road this afternoon. Meanwhile, he has also made two changes from their Europa League draw against FC Midtjylland as Cedric Soares and Steven Davis have come into the side.

Watford have made one alteration to the side from their goalless draw against West Bromwich Albion last week. Jose Holebas has come into the starting lineup in place of Miguel Layun, allowing Ikechi Anya to play further forward.

Watford: Gomes; Nyom, Cathcart, Prödl, Holebas; Capoue, Behrami; Jurado, Ighalo, Anya; Deeney
Subs: Arlauskis, Britos, Watson, Layun, Abdi, Forestieri, Diamanti

Southampton: Stekelenburg; Cedric, Yoshida, Caulker, Fonte, Targett; Wanyama, Romeu, S Davis; Mane, Pelle
Subs: K Davis, Long, Rodriguez, Tadic, Martina, Ward-Prowse, Juanmi.

Here, Sports Mole's pundits predict what they think will happen at Vicarage Road this afternoon.
