Report: Watford eye Dutch winger Steve Berghuis

Premier League newcomers Watford are weighing up a move for AZ Alkmaar winger Steve Berghuis, according to reports.

The 23-year-old, who has also been linked with a move to PSV Eindhoven, is a former Netherlands Under-21 international.

Quique Flores is ready to make Berghuis the Hornets' eighth signing of the summer with a £3.5m offer, reports the Daily Star.

"Playing in the Premier League would be fantastic as it's the dream of every footballer," the newspaper quotes the player as saying.

Berghuis, who joined AZ from FC Twente in 2012, has scored 19 goals in 70 appearances for the club.
