Watford are reportedly on the verge of signing Sweden Under-21 goalkeeper Watford Pontus Dahlberg from IFK Gothenburg.
According to the Watford Observer, the Hornets will pay £3.5m for the highly-rated 19-year-old on a five-year deal.
The Premier League side will, however, loan the youngster back to Gothenburg for the remainder of the English season, the report states.
Dahlberg, who has also been linked with Napoli, has made 29 starts for the Swedish outfit since breaking into their senior side last April.
The stopper has also been tipped for a potential spot in Sweden's World Cup squad, serving as backup to Robin Olsen and Kristoffer Nordfeldt.
