Watford to loan George Thorne?

Watford are reportedly close to securing the loan signing of West Bromwich Albion midfielder George Thorne.

Thorne has not featured for the Baggies since suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury in January, but he is currently nearing the end of his recovery.

According to the Birmingham Mail, the 20-year-old will spend the next three months at Vicarage Road in an attempt to gain some match fitness ahead of a potential return to The Hawthorns in January.

The England Under-19 international has made nine league appearances for West Brom.
