Wigan Athletic have confirmed that Watford midfielder Sean Murray has extended his loan with the club until January 16.
The 21-year-old, who initially joined on a 28-day deal from Vicarage Road, has appeared five times as a substitute in League One so far.
Latics manager Gary Caldwell told the official club website: "The competition for places, especially in midfield, is getting really high now, and Sean's next target is to earn a starting place.
"He has impressed everyone at the club so far with his attitude and he has done well. We are delighted to keep him here for another three months."
Murray has scored 11 goals in 75 appearances for Watford since signing a professional contract at the club in 2010.
