David Williams made it 2-0 to the visitors 10 minutes later and found the target from close range six minutes into the second half.

Heart went 4-0 up at the Westpac Stadium in Wellington just moments later when Rob Wielaert's fierce shot went in after hitting the frame of the Phoenix goal and the keeper Glen Moss.

Williams completed his hat-trick just past the hour mark with a shot from outside the box to wrap up a comprehensive win for the visitors.
