Brisbane Roar win in stoppage time against Wellington Phoenix

Brisbane Roar leave it late to claim a 2-1 win against Wellington Phoenix in the A-League.

Brisbane Roar left it late to overcome Wellington Phoenix 2-1 in the A-League.

Goals from Besart Berisha and Ivan Franjic sealed it for Roar after Stein Huysegems had scored for the hosts midway through the first half.

Huysegems opened the scoring for Phoenix after 21 minutes when he calmly slotted home after Michael Boxall's header left him one-on-one with goalkeeper Michael Theo.

Albanian international Berisha levelled the scores straight after the restart when he converted from inside the penalty area.

However, with the game seemingly heading towards a draw, Thomas Broich hit the bar with a fierce effort in stoppage time and Franjic tucked home the rebound to give the visitors the win.
