Sven Schipplock scores twice in the last five minutes to help Hoffenheim to a share of the spoils against Werder Bremen away from home.

Hoffenheim have made a late rally to hold fellow relegation candidates Werder Bremen to a 2-2 draw away from home in the Bundesliga.

The hosts took the lead as early as the second minute when they were awarded a penalty.

David Abraham brought down Aaron Hunt inside the Hoffenheim area, and the midfielder himself stepped up to successfully convert the spot kick.

Bremen doubled their advantage in the 24th minute through Kevin de Bruyne, who shot home from the right side of the box after being found by Nils Petersen.

Clemens Fritz had an early chance for the home side in the second half when he headed Hunt's corner towards goal, but he failed to keep it on target. Soon after Sebastian Prodl headed wide after De Bruyne had put in a good corner.

Sven Schipplock pulled one back for Hoffenheim five minutes from full time when he found the target from the centre of the box after latching on to Sejad Salihovic's pass.

Then in injury time Schipplock stunned the Bremen supporters at the Weserstadion with his second goal of the afternoon, turning in Andreas Ludwig's headed pass from the left side of the six-yard box.
