Team News: Gonzalo Castro named on Borussia Dortmund bench

Gonzalo Castro is named on the Borussia Dortmund bench for the Bundesliga meeting with Werder Bremen.

Gonzalo Castro has been named on the Borussia Dortmund bench for the Bundesliga meeting with Werder Bremen.

The midfielder was instrumental as Dortmund thrashed SC Paderborn 5-1 in the DFB-Pokal in midweek, but he is left out as Thomas Tuchel opts to go with his preferred starting XI.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continues to lead the line with support from attacking trio Shinji Kagawa, Marco Reus and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Anthony Ujah starts in attack for the hosts after scoring twice in last weekend's 2-1 victory over Mainz 05, with Claudio Pizarro once again forced to settle for a spot on the bench.

Werder Bremen: Wiedwald, Gebre Selassie, Galvez, Vestergaard, Sternberg, Bargfrede, Fritz, Junuzovic, Grillitsch, Bartels, Ujah
Subs: Zetterer, Lukimya, Oztunali, Pizarro, Garcia, Lorenzen, Frode

Borussia Dortmund: Burki, Ginter, Sokratis, Hummels, Park, Weigl, Gündogan, Mkhitaryan, Kagawa, Reus, Aubameyang
Subs: Weidenfeller, Piszczek, Bender, Castro, Schmelzer, Ramos, Januzaj
