West Bromwich Albion assistant Kevin Keen reveals that midfielder Zoltan Gera will undergo a knee scan later today in a bid to find out the full extent of a knee injury suffered on Saturday.

West Bromwich Albion midfielder Zoltan Gera will undergo a scan on his injured knee later today to determine the extent of the problem.

Gera limped out of Saturday's FA Cup draw with Queens Park Rangers after just 21 minutes and was quickly replaced as a precaution.

Baggies assistant head coach Kevin Keen has revealed that Gera will see a specialist to try to find the best course of treatment, with the club not putting a timescale on his return.

He told the club's official website: "Zolly had a problem with his knee, he'll have it scanned and we'll go from there.

"We've all got our fingers crossed, knowing Zolly's history, that it's not too bad. Hopefully he'll be back in a West Brom shirt pretty soon.

"But until we see the scans and see specialists, and things like that, we'll have to wait and see."

West Brom boss Steve Clarke has a number of injury problems, with key players Jonas Olsson, Claudio Yacob and Goran Popov all unavailable last weekend.
