Tony Pulis: 'Plans coming to fruition'

Manager Tony Pulis suggests that things are starting to come together at West Brom following their 4-0 FA Cup thrashing of West Ham at The Hawthorns.

Tony Pulis has suggested that things are starting to come together at West Bromwich Albion following their 4-0 FA Cup thrashing of West Ham United.

Two goals from rejuvenated club-record buy Brown Ideye at The Hawthorns helped the Baggies into the quarter-finals at the expense of their Premier League rivals.

This convincing victory comes in the same week in which Albion beat Swansea City 2-0 to move four points clear of the relegation zone and, while remaining cautious, Pulis is pleased with how things are progressing.

"This team has different strengths to what we had at Stoke and Palace," he told reporters.

"On Wednesday against Swansea, you think it was showing a bit of fruition. There's still a long way to go; we have to keep our feet on the ground and look at it from there."

West Brom have lost just one of the eight games since Pulis was appointed successor to Alan Irvine.
