Good evening everyone! We saw some some great football in the Premier League over the weekend, with goals flying in all across the country. However, there's still one game left to be played in this round of fixtures, as
West Bromwich Albion and Everton go head-to-head at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies endured a shaky start to the season after failing to win any of their opening three games, but they seem to have recovered in recent weeks. They are unbeaten in their previous three league outings, and in that time have have ground out away victories over rivals Stoke City and Aston Villa.
Sitting just above West Brom in the table are an Everton side who are also in good form recently. Their only defeat in the league this season came against Manchester City last month, but since then they have picked up points away at Tottenham and Swansea and have beaten defending champions Chelsea.
With both teams also in League Cup action over the past week there are bound to be plenty of changes made by each manager this evening. I think it's about time we see which players have been brought back into the starting lineups, as the team news has arrived.
WEST BROM XI: Myhill, Olsson, Yacob, Dawson, Evans, Brunt, Morrison, Fletcher, McClean, Berahino, Rondon
EVERTON XI: Howard, Browning, Jagielka, Mori, Galloway; McCarthy, Barry, Deulofeu, Barkley, Naismith, Lukaku
WEST BROM SUBS: Lindegaard, Chester, Gardner, McManaman, Gnabry, Anichebe, Lambert
EVERTON SUBS: Robles, Gibson, McGeady, Osman, Oviedo, Lennon, Kone
There we have our teams for tonight's match. West Brom have made a total of nine changes to the side dumped out of the League Cup by Norwich City last week.
Saido Berahino and Salomon Rondon are among those who return and they will line up in the attack with James McClean. However, the Baggies are without Gareth McAuley, so Jonny Evans plays alongside Jonas Olsson at the heart of the defence.
As for Everton, there are five changes made to the side who beat Reading. They have a number of defensive problems with John Stones, Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman ruled out through injury, so Ty Browning, Brendan Galloway and summer signing Ramiro Funes Mori all start. Meanwhile,
Romelu Lukaku, who scored 17 goals on loan for the Baggies during a loan spell three seasons ago, leads the attack.
In the past month things seem to be taking shape for West Brom, who were given a tricky start to the season. The Baggies faced Manchester City in their opening league match and suffered a 3-0 defeat, and following a goalless draw at Watford, they were beaten at home again by Chelsea.

However, they turned a corner by winning their first league match against Stoke at the end of August, with Salomon Rondon bagging the only goal after the Potters had been reduced to nine men. A respectable goalless draw against Southampton followed, before they took on close rivals Aston Villa.
In that match, the Baggies managed to pull off another narrow away victory, with Saido Berahino scoring the winner on his return to the squad. The 22-year-old had threatened to not play for the club again after seeing a move to Tottenham fall through, but he has been welcomed back by his teammates and the supporters.
For all of their good form in the top flight, the Baggies were dumped out of the League Cup by Norwich last Wednesday evening. Matt Jarvis, Kyle Lafferty and an own goal from Sebastien Pocognoli saw them slip to a 3-0 defeat, but Tony Pulis had made 10 changes to his side, indicating that league survival is the main priority once again.
There were no such problems for Everton in the cup last week, as they came from behind to earn a 2-1 win over Reading. A fine volley from Ross Barkley and a free kick from
Gerard Deulofeu sealed their fightback, as they extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to five games.

Just like the Baggies, they endured a rather mixed opening to the season, as they twice came from behind to snatch a 2-2 draw against Watford in their first match, before blowing Southampton away with a 3-0 victory at St Mary's the following week.
The Toffees were then beaten 2-0 by Manchester City, but since that result they have recorded some impressive results. Perhaps the most outstanding of their performances came against Chelsea, where a hat-trick from first-half substitute Steven Naismith fired them to a 3-1 victory at Goodison Park.
Following the results over the weekend, Roberto Martinez's side are currently ninth in the table with nine points on the board and will leapfrog rivals Liverpool with a win. A return to Europe this season will also be on the manager's mind, but in recent years their Premier League form has tended to dip after a Thursday night on the continent.
Coming into tonight's clash Everton are unbeaten in their last five games against West Brom, and they have only lost one of the previous nine meetings between the two clubs. On that occasion, Steven Reid and Shane Long scored the goals in a 2-0 victory for the Baggies.
In the corresponding fixture last fixture it was the Toffees who ran out 2-0 winners, as Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas both found the back of the net. Their last meeting in January actually ended in a goalless draw, with Kevin Mirallas missing a penalty after taking over spot kick duties from Leighton Baines.

We saw 36 goals in the Premier League over the weekend, but with three clean sheets in three games for West Brom and goalless stalemates for Everton in their previous two away matches, will the attacking football continue this evening?
We're now just three minutes away from kick off and the teams have made their way out onto the pitch. There is a fine atmosphere as always at the Hawthorns and both managers seem in very good spirits too.
KICKOFF! We are underway at the Hawthorns!
There is a good tempo to the match in these early stages and both teams are looking to get the ball down and press forward quickly. There haven't been any chances on goal yet, but some fine defending from Everton sees McClean's low pass cut out before it can set Rondon free.
The Baggies are seeing plenty of the ball at the moment and they are trying to push Everton back as far as possible. Pulis will want his team to put the visitors under pressure in the early stages as they try to stamp their authority on the match.
SHOT! More good play from the hosts sees Berahino pick the ball up down the left before driving forward. He then comes inside and finds Morrison, who eventually gets a shot away from just outside the box, but his stinging drive is well held by Howard.
It's still all West Brom at the moment, but they have not been able to get beyond Everton's defence. The Toffees are getting a lot of men behind the ball when they aren't in possession, with Lukaku looking a bit stranded at the moment.
The Baggies give their opponents some encouragement when they cheaply loose the ball inside their own half twice in the space of 30 seconds. Everton are unable to take advantage though, as the hosts quickly win the ball back and immediately look to press forward.
Great chance for Everton to test the Baggies as they win the ball following a corner and break at pace. They have three men in the attack, with Barkley charging down the right and Lukaku and Deulofeu in support. However, Barkley tries to go all the way himself and ends up being crowded out as he enters the box.
There is a real lack of space for each team whenever they get to within range of their opponents goal. It's Everton who are crowded out again when Naismith looks to create some space to shoot, but the Baggies hold a firm line and easily close him down.
It's hard to see where a goal is going to come from at the moment, as we have seen just one shot on goal so far this evening. I did mention that both teams have fine defensive records in recent weeks and that is certainly showing here.
SUB! West Brom are being forced into a change, as Olsson heads off the pitch with what looks like a groin injury to be replaced by Chester.
MISS! What a big chance this is for Everton to take the lead. They pinch the ball in the midfield and play it to Deulofeu on the right wing. The Spaniard then drives forward and whips a teasing low cross into the box that finds Barkley, but the England midfielder fluffs his shot and the Baggies escape.
Everton have become more threatening as the half has progressed and if we are to see a goal then I suspect that they may get it. They do look a real threat on the counter attack, with the pace of their forward players giving the home side a few problems.
Deulofeu is having plenty of joy down the right and he is found again in acres of space. He then drives past Brunt and tries to get to the byline, but just overruns the ball out of play. However, it is another sign of where the biggest danger from the visitors is coming on.
This is a very good spell in the match for the visitors and they are making good headway into their opponents' half. They end up seeing a couple of crosses headed clear, before the ball comes out to Funes Mori, who then fires a speculative effort well over the bar from around 30 yards out.
SHOT! This would have been an outrageous goal had Barkley found the net. The midfielder receives the ball close to the touchline down the left-hand side of the pitch and has no options in the middle. He then decides to try and bend a strike into the far corner, but his effort ends up dropping onto the top of the net.
GOAL! West Brom 1-0 Everton (Saido Berahino)
A goal has looked a long way off this evening, but with just minutes to go until half time West Brom take the lead. Barry gives the ball away cheaply deep inside his own half to Morrison. The midfielder then slides a fantastic ball through to Berahino, who races beyond the defence and clinically finishes past Howard.
Everton are trying to come up with a response before the break and they manage to win a corner down the right. Browning then rises to meet the resulting set piece, but his header is far too high and drops over the bar.
There will be at least two minutes added on before the break.
HALF-TIME: West Brom 1-0 Everton
It seemed for long periods that the first half would end without a goal, but a strike from Saido Berahino has given West Brom the lead at The Hawthorns. There has been very little to choose between the teams, but we could be set for a much more exciting second half now.

Let's check out the statistics from the opening 45 minutes. Everton have just shaded the possession, seeing 53% of the ball so far this evening. The visitors have also had five attempts on goal, compared to three from the Baggies, but it's the hosts who hold the advantage.
If things stay the same for Everton after the break, then it won't be too long until Roberto Martinez makes any changes. The manager has a few attacking options on the bench, as Aaron Lennon would add some pace down the wing, while
Arouna Kone could be brought on to join Romelu Lukaku in the attack.
RESTART! Everton take the kick off and get the match back underway.
CHANCE West Brom have started the second half on top and they come close to doubling their lead. A swift break sees Morrison drive towards the box and see his low shot blocked. The ball then falls perfectly into the path of McClean, but he hammers his first-time strike into the stands.
Rondon almost has a chance for the hosts when he breaks clear of the defence to latch onto a pass over the top. However, he takes a poor first touch and stumbles on the ball, and the Everton defence are able to clear the danger.
CHANCE! The Baggies continue to dominate and they create another very promising opening. A corner from Berahino is floated out to Evans, and the defender then whips in a cross to Fletcher. The midfielder then goes in with a diving header, but he gets it all wrong and Everton are able to clear behind for another corner.
GOAL! West Brom 2-0 Everton (Craig Dawson)
West Brom may have missed a big chance just moments ago, but they do manage to find the net from the resulting corner. Its Dawson who gets on the scoresheet, as he rises at the back post to thump in a header from Brunt's delivery.
GOAL! West Brom 2-1 Everton (Romelu Lukaku)
What a response this is by Everton, who pull a goal back just 27 seconds after conceding. Lukaku has barely had a chance this evening, but he gets up above everyone inside the box to head Deulofeu's cross past a helpless Myhill.
This game has really come to life and not many people would have expected it after such a poor first half. There is an extra spring in the step of both teams now and I don't think we have seen the last of the scoring.
SHOT! Berahino has half a chance when the ball is played to him on the edge of the box. He then spins and tries to curl a low strike into the far corner, but he is unable to generate enough power and Howard easily makes the save.
YELLOW CARD! Naismith is booked by the referee as Everton prepare to take a free kick from just outside the box.
SHOT! Barkley takes the set piece, but he can only hammer his effort straight into the wall. It was not the best effort from the midfielder, and Lukaku may pull rank if they are awarded another free kick.
SUB! West Brom make their second change of the evening, with Gardner coming on to replace Rondon.
YELLOW CARD! McCarthy is the second player to be booked this evening for diving inside the box.
SUB! It's a double change for the visitors, as Kone and Gibson come on to replace Naismith and Browning.
GOAL! West Brom 2-2 Everton (Arouna Kone)
Kone has only been on the pitch for three minutes, but he finds the back of the net to draw Everton level from two goals down. He stays onside to latch onto Lukaku's fine pass through the middle of West Brom's defence, before keeping his composure to fire a low drive into the bottom corner that once again leaves Myhill with no chance.
The momentum is firmly with Everton now after their fine comeback in this second half. They are now pressing forward in search of a winner, with the Baggies looking shellshocked at how things have turned out after being two goals ahead.
Lukaku has been unplayable at times since the break and he is also showing great work ethic to help his team out at the back. He also played a part in both of Everton's goals and his former club must be sick of the sight of him.
GOAL! West Brom 2-3 Everton (Romelu Lukaku)
I just spoke about the impact Lukaku has made this evening and he strikes again to give Everton the lead. The Belgian arrives inside the box to bundle in another great cross from Deulofeu, and with just six minutes left to play it could turn out to be the winner.
SUB! West Brom respond to conceding by bringing on Lambert in place of Yacob.
MISS! Lambert has the chance to score for the Baggies within moments of his arrival. The England international is picked out inside the box by Chester and is allowed to turn on the ball. He then tries to bend a strike into the corner, but he can't find the target as the ball goes agonizingly wide of the post.
SUB! Lukaku is given a huge round of applause from many inside the ground as he heads off to be replaced by Lennon.
There are going to be at least five minutes of stoppage time.
It's Everton who are on the ball as they try to see out the rest of the match. They have kept possession well deep inside the West Brom half, with the Baggies looking tired at the moment.
FULL-TIME: West Brom 2-3 Everton
It's all over at The Hawthorns, where Everton have come from behind to claim a stunning victory over West Brom. Romelu Lukaku was the hero against his former club, by scoring two and making the other, as the Toffees completed the most unlikely of comebacks.
