West Bromwich Albion defender Liam Ridgewell could miss his side's clash with Newcastle United because of a calf strain.
Ridgewell is believed to have picked up the injury while on international duty, with West Brom boss Steve Clarke suggesting that he may look to rest the player this coming weekend.
"Liam injured his calf in training the week before," Clarke told West Brom's official website.
"It's a calf strain and I'm not sure how long he'll be out for. He has started jogging again so he's got an outside chance of being ready for the weekend.
"But we've got plenty of games coming up as well so we have to be careful it doesn't become a long-term injury."
Clarke's men are 11th in the Premier League table, having already beaten Manchester United at Old Trafford this season.
