West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke urges his players to rediscover their early-season form and get back up the Premier League table.

West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Clarke has urged his side to rediscover their early-season form and avoid complacency.

The Baggies have been this season's surprise package, climbing to third in the table, although one point from the last four has seen them drop to seventh place.

Clarke has admitted that he is satisfied with his side's points tally so far, but insisted that there needs to be another push to get themselves up the table once again.

"We're a long way into the season now, approaching halfway, and we're still in a really good place," said Clarke.

"If you'd said we'd be sitting on 27 points the Saturday before Christmas, I think a lot of people would have accepted that.

"We have to make sure that we don't become complacent because we have a good number of points. We have to push the squad and the team and push ourselves forward into an even better position."

Clarke moved to The Hawthornes this summer, replacing Roy Hodgson as manager.
