West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has revealed that he is concerned by Chris Brunt's latest knee injury.
The Baggies captain, who picked up the problem during last weekend's 1-1 draw with Newcastle United in the Premier League, has been ruled out of Saturday's clash with Southampton.
However, Clarke is worried that the midfielder could be forced to spend longer on the sidelines than first expected.
"Chris's injury is a little bit of a concern for us," the Scot is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"It would be nice to think he'll only miss one game but there is a possibility he will miss more than one game."
Brunt has made 32 appearances in all competitions for West Brom this season.
