Roy Hodgson has praised the West Bromwich Albion fans after he took charge of the side for the final time.
Despite a gallant effort at the Hawthorns, the Baggies eventually lost 3-2 to Arsenal.
Hodgson, who took over at the club 15 months ago, will now focus on his job as England manager.
"This is a fantastic football club with a great tradition and even in the rough times, I felt the fans were behind us," he told supporters after the match.
"You deserve another year in the Premier League and I would like to thank all the staff and players for their support during this past 15 months."
Following their defeat to the Gunners, West Brom have finished 10th in the Premier League table.
