Jack Fitzwater has rejoined West Bromwich Albion following a one-month loan stint with Chesterfield.
The defender was limited to just one appearance as a substitute at the Proact Stadium because of an ankle injury.
"It was unfortunate for Jack that he went over on his ankle soon after joining us, which set him back," manager Dean Saunders told the club's official website.
"Jack has the potential to become a top player in the future and I would like to thank West Brom for loaning him to us."
The 18-year-old was named West Brom's academy Player of the Year last season.
