James Morrison has stated his belief that continuity has played a major role in West Bromwich Albion's positive start to the new campaign.
The Baggies are currently sixth in the Premier League table having amassed 14 points from a possible 21.
Reflecting on his side's beginning to the season, Morrison feels that the club's ability to keep hold of the majority of its key players has been a major contributing factor.
"A few of our players have played together for a long time now," said Morrison. "We have been building this for a few years now with the players that we signed at an early age.
"I came when I was 20 and we've played together now for a long time so we're gelling nicely and we've got a good group of players."
Morrison found the net as West Brom defeated QPR 3-2 on Saturday afternoon.
