West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke has confirmed that goalkeeper Ben Foster may require further surgery to correct his groin problem.
The former Manchester United keeper went under the surgeon's knife earlier this month in attempt to heal the injury that had been troubling him for some time.
However, Clarke has admitted that the operation may not have been as successful as was first hoped.
"It is possible the Ben could need further surgery. If that is the case, it will be the same timescale as before - around seven to 10 days," Clarke told reporters.
The problem has kept Foster out of West Brom's last three matches.
