Steven Reid has committed his future to West Bromwich Albion by signing a new two-year contract at the Hawthorns.
Reports earlier today revealed that an agreement between the club and the Republic of Ireland international was close.
"We're delighted to have agreed a new contract with Steven," technical director Dan Ashworth told the club's official website. "He's had a good, solid season and proved he is still more than capable of playing Premier League football.
"He is also a fantastic person to have around the training ground.
"Steven is valued by the club not just because of what he brings to the football field, but also his contribution off it."
The 31-year-old defender was due to be a free agent at the end of the season.
