Salomon Rondon avoids retrospective action?

West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon reportedly avoids retrospective action from the Football Association, despite slapping Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo.

West Bromwich Albion striker Salomon Rondon has reportedly avoided retrospective action from the Football Association.

On Saturday, the Venezuelan international slapped Marcos Rojo during a confrontation between the two players in Manchester United's 2-0 win over the Baggies.

While Rondon received a yellow card for his part in the incident, the offence in question was not seen by the referee but according to the Daily Mail, a three-man panel has decided against further action.

The 27-year-old - who has scored seven goals this season - will now be available for his side's trip to Arsenal on Boxing Day.
