West Bromwich Albion forward Stephane Sessegnon has admitted that he feels "pressure" to do well at The Hawthorns following his arrival from Sunderland.
The 29-year-old left the Stadium of Light for £6m on the final day of the transfer window, making the forward the club's record signing.
"There is a certain pressure to perform very well because of the price tag," the Birmingham Mail quotes Sessegnon as saying.
"But it's a positive pressure because it shows the club think I'm worth it. I believe I can bring more to the club. This is still the settling-in period and I will show more as time goes by. I am obviously very pleased the fans like me."
Sessegnon has found the net twice since joining the Baggies in the summer.
