West Bromwich Albion are set to name Li Piyue as the new chairman of the club, according to reports.
The Telegraph claims that the 45-year-old is expected to be appointed in the summer by Chinese tycoon Guochuan Lai, who owns Albion.
Li would be promoted from his role as director at The Hawthorns, if he is chosen as successor to the recently-dismissed John Williams.
The former West Brom chairman was sacked last month, as the club sit bottom of the Premier League table and seven points off 19th-placed Stoke City.
Lai took over the club in September 2016 in a deal worth £180m.
