West Bromwich Albion midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu is said to be in hot water with manager Steve Clarke after returning late for pre-season training.
The 25-year-old trained with the squad yesterday but failed to report for the first session on Monday after missing his flight from the Congo.
"Missed my flight and get blocked in the airport cause of my ID," tweeted Mulumbu.
Clarke is likely to fine the player, according to the Daily Star.
Mulumbu has made 115 league appearances for the Baggies since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in February 2009.
