Free agent centre-back Joleon Lescott has arrived at West Bromwich Albion for a medical ahead of a proposed move, according to a report.
The Midlands club confirmed on Wednesday that they had held talks with Lescott, whose contract with Manchester City expires at the end of the month.
West Brom's move for Lescott now appears to have gone a step further, with the medical thought to be taking place on Thursday afternoon, Sky Sports News reports.
Lescott was believed to be close to a move to Hull City earlier in the week, but now seems to have snubbed the chance for a deal with West Brom.
