West Bromwich Albion have reportedly turned their attention to Queens Park Rangers striker Charlie Austin after missing out on Demba Ba.
The Baggies were linked with signing former Chelsea frontman Ba from Besiktas, but it is thought that the 30-year-old turned down a move to The Hawthorns to join Shanghai Shenhua.
Austin has been linked with a host of Premier League sides since QPR's relegation from the top flight, including Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Southampton.
According to the Express & Star, West Brom have made an approach for the former Burnley frontman.
Austin has scored 38 goals in 73 games for QPR.
