Sweden international forward Markus Rosenberg reportedly agrees to join West Bromwich Albion on a two-year contract.

West Bromwich Albion have reportedly won the race to sign Sweden international forward Markus Rosenberg.

The 29-year-old was released by Werder Bremen earlier this summer following five and a half years with the Bundesliga outfit.

Swansea City, Southampton and Reading were all interested in Rosenberg's signature, but he has opted to join the Baggies and will sign a two-year-deal at the Hawthorns later this week, according to The Metro.

Rosenberg scored 40 goals in 123 domestic league matches during his time at the Weserstadion.
