West Bromwich Albion manager Roy Hodgson has ended his interest in signing Zenit St Petersburg winger Szabolcs Huszti.
Hodgson had previously stated that he was hopeful a deal could be reached for the Hungary international, but talks have now broken down following reservations over the 28-year-old's fitness.
"He has gone back," said Hodgson.
"We decided after speaking with him, he has not played for a long time, so it would have taken time to get him available so we decided to revisit it in the summer."
Huszti has made 51 appearances for the Hungarian national team, scoring seven goals in the process.
