West Bromwich Albion have reportedly submitted a £4m bid for Cardiff City midfielder Peter Whittingham.
The Baggies have made the first move for the 27-year-old ahead of Fulham, according to The Mirror.
Whittingham was part of the Aston Villa youth setup, making his first-team debut for the Midlands side in 2003.
He moved to Cardiff in 2007 after loan spells with Burnley and Derby County, and scored his 50th league goal for the club in November last year.
