West Bromwich Albion have completed the signing of Jason Davidson on a two-year contract.
The 23-year-old has arrived at The Hawthorns for an undisclosed fee from Dutch club Heracles Almelo, where he had spent the previous three years.
"I'm delighted we've been able to complete a deal for Jason. He had a fantastic World Cup when he performed very well against three top teams," West Brom manager Alan Irvine told the club's official website.
"Jason is a good defender who has lots of energy, gets forward well and will give us competition for places at left-back with Sebastien Pocognoli."
Davidson has become the seventh player to join West Brom this summer following the additions of Craig Gardner, Joleon Lescott, Chris Baird, Brown Ideye, Andre Wisdom and Pocognoli.
