West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho has withdrawn from Senegal's squad for the Africa Cup of Nations with a back injury.
The 25-year-old aggravated the problem during his club's 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion on New Year's Day.
FC Sion forward Moussa Konate has replaced Sakho in the Senegal squad.
"Sakho's got a damaged back, he's got a pinched spine," West Ham boss Sam Allardyce is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "Senegal have sent a medical team over and looked at the MRI scans with us and he will be out for a few weeks, I think."
Sakho has scored nine goals in 15 games for the Hammers so far this season.
