New West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has admitted that he is worried as Enner Valencia prepares for a scan on a knee injury later today.
The Ecuadorian striker was stretchered off in the first half of the Hammers' 2-2 draw with Astra Giurgiu yesterday in the third qualifying round for the Europa League, and Bilic concedes that it could be serious.
He said at a press conference: "I am worried, to be fair. It looks serious but we won't know for sure until he has a scan."
Valencia had opened the scoring after 22 minutes, but the East Londoners threw away a two-goal lead.
