West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has hailed his side's efficiency in front of goal in their 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic.
Strikes from Matt Jarvis and Kevin Nolan at Upton Park all but ascertained the Hammers Premier League status this season as they secured the victory over the Latics.
Allardyce told BBC Sport:"I feel really good. While it wasn't the best performance, the bottom line is, if you score your goals and take your chances, you win football matches.
"Their possession was better than ours but the chances they had they either missed or Jussi Jaaskelainen saved them. We knew Wigan would push forward which left them defensively weakened and we exposed them."
West Ham are 10th in the Premier League, 11 points clear of the relegation zone.
