West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has revealed that he is still yet to agree a new contract with the club.
The 60-year-old's current deal at Upton Park is due to expire at the end of the season.
Despite failing to commit his future to the Hammers, Allardyce insists that he is remaining patient and sees a bright future for the club.
When asked if there were any developments regarding his contract situation, he told the club's official website: "Not yet. There's still a way to go but we'll talk when the time is right. There's a lot of work to be done here and the potential of the squad is very exciting. The way the club is going with the new stadium round the corner it is an exciting time."
Allardyce joined West Ham in 2011 following a spell with Blackburn Rovers.
