Slaven Bilic hoping to "settle" at London Stadium

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic says that his side will "settle down" at the London Stadium if they can beat Bournemouth on Sunday.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has acknowledged that his side will only "settle" down to life at the London Stadium with wins in front of their own supporters.

In May, the Hammers left long-term home Upton Park in order to make the switch to the site of the Olympic Stadium, and Bilic has admitted that it would be beneficial for the team to start life at their new ground with three points against Bournemouth.

The Croatian is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "The best way to settle is to win. A win on Sunday hopefully will make it really feel like a warm home.

"Victories are what makes settling in much easier. It's not intimidating until you make it intimidating with your quality. I felt and the guys felt that the atmosphere was really great in our two games there so far and you could feel the bond between the fans and the players."

West Ham have already played two fixtures at the Olympic Stadium, with a 3-0 win over Domzale in the Europa League being followed by a 3-2 friendly defeat to Juventus.
