Slaven Bilic tips West Ham United for "big things"

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic says that "big things" await the Hammers ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.

Slaven Bilic has claimed that West Ham United can achieve "big things" in the 2015-16 season as their summer spending spree looks poised to continue.

The Hammers boss has splashed £15m so far after signing Dimitri Payet for £10.7m from Marseille, along with Pedro Obiang from Sampdoria for a reported £4.3m.

Bilic is also ready to complete permanent moves for Carl Jenkinson and Alex Song, after the duo spent last season on loan at Upton Park from Arsenal and Barcelona.

However, the Croat, who replaced Sam Allardyce last month, says that more arrivals lurk on the horizon, having also signed goalkeeper Darren Randolph.

"Our plan is to bring in more players," he told The Express.

"We are trying to bring in players who we believe can lift us to another stage and make us better. We have already signed a few players and brought them into a good team.

"We are expecting big things with West Ham. We are not big headed and will take it step by step but the early signs are very promising."

United travel to Andorra tonight for a Europa League first-round second-leg qualifier with Lusitanos, having won 3-0 in East London last week.
