West Ham United vice-chairwoman Karren Brady has called on manager Sam Allardyce to stop the team from "underachieving".
The Hammers enjoyed a strong start to the Premier League season, but a seven-game winless run has seen them slip down to 10th place in the table.
Brady now wants Allardyce to get the side up the standings during the final few weeks of the campaign.
"Someone says in the press today that we flattered to deceive up to Christmas – but I 100% disagree," she told The Sun. "The fact is that West Ham are underachieving and it is Sam Allardyce's task to identify the reason and rectify it. He would wish it no other way."
West Ham continue their Premier League campaign today when they welcome Sunderland to the Stadium of Light.
