West Ham United have reportedly held talks with former Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini's representatives with a view to making him their next manager.
The Chilean has emerged as a contender to replace David Moyes at the London Stadium following the Scot's departure earlier today.
According to Sky Sports News, Pellegrini, who is currently managing Chinese side Hebei China Fortune, is one of the West Ham board's top picks to fill the position but his wage demands could present a stumbling block.
Pellegrini spent three years in England with City, winning the Premier League once and the League Cup twice.
West Ham's manager shortlist is also said to include Newcastle United boss Rafael Benitez and Shakhtar Donetsk head coach Paulo Fonseca.
